Tour Clinton Presidential Library For Charity
Calling all political junkies. Looking for the perfect holiday present for your family policy wonk? How about a tour for five of Bill Clinton’s Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas?
It’s currently up for bid on CharityBuzz.com. In addition to the tour, you will receive a saxophone autographed by the former president as well as a signed copies of his two books, My Life and Giving.
“The American Presidency is part of a unique heritage that is yours to explore through archives, museums, and special programs, Presidential Libraries preserve the documents and artifacts of our Presidents and provide insight into the times in which these Presidents lived and served the nation,” according to the Charity Buzz auction item’s description.
Clinton’s book My Life is a “refreshingly candid look at the former president as a son, brother, teacher, father, husband, and public figure. Throughout the autobiography, Clinton painstakingly outlines the history behind his greatest successes and failures,” it adds.
The estimated value of this auction is $10,000, and all proceeds will go to Communities in Schools, a nonprofit that provides support for economically disadvantaged students in the Los Angeles metro area.
