Ask a Question, Donate To Charity: Firm Will Give $25 For Every Completed Poll
APCO Worldwide, a global communication consultancy, recently revealed a novel idea to get people to participate in one of their in-depth surveys.
The firm recently sent around a notice offering to give $25 to charity on behalf of all those agreeing to be polled by them for a year-end analysis of the public affairs, public relations and corporate advisory industry.
They wanted to explore “what is most important to successful organizations, such as yours, when making the decision to hire a consulting firm.” Sure, the survey probably has nothing really to do with nonprofit institution and charitable giving but it’s the thought that intrigues here.
it’s probably pretty astute that they offered such an appealing takeaway to the audience they’re targeting — public affairs and public relations folks who are probably a little more receptive to the prospect of giving back than members of other professions. The survey is confidential with your name and affiliation not reported with responses. To apply to participate, see: www.insightwebpoll.com/APCOSurvey2011.
